Fall Fun Day
Mitchell Park Fall Fun Day is an annual community celebration bringing together 500+ neighbors, families, and kids. Help us welcome fall with free activities, food, crafts, community organizations, music, pumpkin decorating, a haunted house, and more!

The Day serves as a vital opportunity to reconnect with neighbors, meet community partners, and celebrate the season together! Representatives from a number of city and community organizations will join the festival, including the Councilwoman Pinto’s Office, Smithsonian National Zoo, DC Parks and Recreation, DC Fire/EMS, Woodrow Wilson House, Hirshhorn Kids, Early Stages, Phillips Collection, Tudor House, the Washington Studio School, and more.
The Two Smooth Dudes food truck will have a variety of wraps, salads, chicken fingers and tots available for purchase.

The Great Zucchini
Join us for a magical Sunday morning in the park with The Great Zucchini, Washington, D.C.’s favorite children’s entertainer! Known for his hilarious, high-energy performances and incredible magic tricks, The Great Zucchini has delighted young audiences for over 25 years.

Please join us on Sunday, June 22, at 10am for a startling and hilarious magic show that proves magic can be created by all of us. Using comedy, magic and audience participation, master magician Michael Chamberlin features dazzling contemporary versions on some of magic’s most legendary effects. The show provides fast-paced, original and spellbinding sorcery for all ages!

What's in store at Mitchell Park Fall Fun Day? Decorate a pumpkin! Enjoy free pizza, catch performances from MHP Jam, moonbounce, climb aboard a fire truck, decorate fall crafts, and interact with representatives from city, Embassy, and community associations. Take a silly photo at the photo booth! Parents can join for a free yoga class by Yoga District.
